Since hot air balloons travel with the wind, certain wind directions may lead to limited landing options or challenging terrain. To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable flight, we carefully select the most suitable launch site within your chosen area.

While we always have a preferred launch site in mind, we may adjust it on the day only if necessary—maximizing your flight time, scenic views, and landing comfort. Our goal is to give you the best and safest ballooning experience possible! 🎈✨

We schedule flights every flyable day, all year round, ensuring you have plenty of opportunities to experience the magic of ballooning.

• Spring & Summer: Evening flights run throughout the week, with both morning and evening flights available on weekends.
• Autumn & Winter: While winter flights offer spectacular scenery, they are more dependent on weather conditions.

For those booking a private balloon flight, we offer flexible scheduling, including midweek mornings, to make your experience as convenient and memorable as possible. 🎈✨

While it’s possible, we can’t guarantee it—hot air balloons travel with the wind, so we go wherever the breeze takes us! However, you can choose the area you’d like to fly in, ensuring you’ll drift over familiar countryside and enjoy breathtaking views of places you know and love.

Our balloon flights typically last around an hour, though this can vary depending on suitable landing sites. From meeting at the launch site to returning afterward, the entire experience takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.

We believe the journey is just as exciting as the flight itself! That’s why we invite you to join us from the very start, getting hands-on with the rigging and inflation process. After a breathtaking flight, we all pitch in to pack up the balloon, before celebrating our adventure with a well-earned toast and some suitable liquid refreshment! 🍾✨

Hot air balloons take to the skies during the most stable weather conditions—early morning just after sunrise or late afternoon a few hours before sunset. These are the times when the air is calm, providing the smoothest and most breathtaking flights.

In the height of summer, morning flights can mean an early start, but the reward is a peaceful, golden sunrise floating over the countryside. Evening flights offer stunning sunset views as the day winds down.

Unlike big national ballooning companies, we focus solely on this area, meaning we’re ready to fly whenever the weather allows. We don’t have long waiting lists or impersonal call centre booking systems—when you book with us, you’re speaking directly to the people who will be flying you.

This hands-on approach means more availability, better communication, and a truly personal experience from start to finish. When the skies are clear, we’re here to fly!

Surprisingly, it’s often warmer in the balloon than on the ground! Since we fly with the wind, there’s no breeze while we’re in the air, making for a comfortable experience.

We recommend dressing as if you’re heading out for a countryside walk—comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear are ideal. The landing may be in a grassy field, so practical shoes will keep you comfortable from take-off to touchdown.

There’s no strict legal age limit for ballooning, but for the best experience, we recommend children be at least 7 years old and at least 4 feet tall to comfortably see over the basket. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

At the other end of the scale, age is just a number! As long as you’re reasonably fit and agile enough to climb in and out of the basket, you’re good to go. In fact, we’ve even flown two incredible sisters aged 91 and 95!
